InDice

A chaotic little game about moving inside a dice! Entry for GMTK Game Jam 2022 ("Roll of the dice").

The game does not have music, but would go well with an electro swing tune if you don't want to play in silence.

Controls:

• Use the arrows on your keyboard to move left and right, and jump.
• Click on the buttons and dice to navigate the menu.

Rules :

• You are given 8 random dice values. You have 3 rounds to obtain the same results with your rolls. You can roll a maximum of 4 dice and a minimum of 1 die per round.
• The values of the dice you selected for one round are added to give you a number of dice points. You have to spend those dice points in roll parameters (bonus and constraints for your rolls), which are effective for one round.

Inside the dice:

• Do not touch the white sides of the die nor the black matter. Only the wooden platforms are safe.
• The die stops when it reaches the target die value, or when all your clover avatars are dead.
• The difference between the die value you obtained and the target die value will then be calculated, and added to get a final score after 3 rounds. A score of 0 is a perfect score.

If the rules don't seem clear: just launch the game, click on a few buttons and jump on platforms: you should be fine!
